Prof. Yariv Yogev
Prof. Yariv Yogev graduated from medical school at the Technion in Haifa, Israel, and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Helen Schneider Hospital, Rabin Medical Center. He completed his clinical and research fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Columbia University and St. Luke's–Roosevelt Hospital in New York. He is currently a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Tel Aviv University and Chairman of the Lis Hospital for Women at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center (Ichilov), a tertiary university-affiliated hospital.
Prof. Yogev is the past President of the Israel Society for Maternal and Fetal Medicine, past Vice President of the Israeli Association for Obstetrics and Gynecology, past moderator of the diabetes-in-pregnancy program of the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine (SMFM), and a board member for the Israeli residency board exams. He has contributed more than 400 peer-reviewed articles, edited 4 books, and authored many additional book chapters. His main research interests are pregnancy complications, especially diabetes in pregnancy and preterm labor.
