Accessibility Statement

Med2Cast believes health information should be understandable and usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. This statement describes the accessibility of the med2cast.com website, the adaptations in place, and how to reach us if something does not work for you.

Conformance target

This website is designed to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, in line with Israeli Standard 5568 (ת"י 5568) and Regulation 35 of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013.

Accessibility adaptations on this site

The site supports keyboard-only operation with a visible focus indicator and a "Skip to content" link on every page. Pages use a semantic structure — landmarks, a single main heading, and a logical heading hierarchy — for screen-reader navigation. Images carry text alternatives, form fields have programmatic labels with autocomplete support, and interactive controls expose their name, role, and state (including the episode language filters and the menu button). Text colors meet AA contrast requirements, browser zoom is not restricted, and animations are reduced automatically for visitors who enable "reduce motion" in their system settings. Multilingual content — including Hebrew and Japanese episode titles — is language-tagged so screen readers pronounce it correctly, and the Japanese version of the site is served with full Japanese page structure.

Known limitations

Text transcripts for the sample audio episodes are being prepared and will be added progressively. The floating presenter video is a short introductory clip provided by a third-party service and currently plays without captions; the same information appears as text on the page. If any of these limitations affect you, please contact us and we will provide the content in an accessible format.

Testing

Accessibility was reviewed in July 2026 using automated checks and a manual keyboard and code review in current desktop Chrome, including the site's mobile layout. Additional browser and assistive-technology testing is ongoing.
